Lead the data strategy to respond to strategic data directions provided in the Digital, Security and Business strategies including priorities for investment in platform configuration, data repositories, data quality and operating model to support insights and potential AI applications.

Responsible for creating and maintaining current and target-state data architectures along with the Strategy and Architecture Coordinator.

Define and manage standards, guidelines, and processes to ensure data quality, copyright regulations and intellectual Property across the organisation.

Accountable for ensuring technology solutions are in alignment with data architecture principles and target state Functional Ownership of end-to-end data life cycle management activities.

Work with Data Integration, Library Services, Corporate Services and Risk teams to understand data consumers’ needs and develop solutions.

Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies for data management, storage, and analytics.
